Johnnie Walker Gold Label Ice Pillar

Whisky maker Johnnie Walker, has created a new way to savour its Gold Label Whisky: serve chilled.

QSLD Paris, a French design agency, was chosen to create the outer pack that’s dedicated to this new tasting.

Now you can freeze your whisky bottle and put it into the Johnnie Walker Ice Pillar. It will keep your bottle of JW whisky cold and will allow you to extend your chilled relishing.

The inner box was inspired by frosted gold leaves and symbolizes Gold Label. The outer box is transparent, it depicts the ice wrapping the item.

Composed of several parts, Johnnie Walker Gold Ice Pillar is covered by a metallic gold anodized ring. The logos are embossed out.

This ring repeats the slanting dynamics of Johnnie Walker Gold’s emblematic label. It makes the product and the brand immediately identifiable and is also used for closing the case.

Founded by Designer Denis Boudard in 1993, QSLD has been at the center of the Luxury scene for more than a decade.

The Dalmore – Finest Malt Scotch Whiskies

The Dalmore - EOS malt scotch whiskey
The Dalmore – EOS malt scotch whiskey

As New Year’s Eve is almost here, why not treat yourself with one of the finest malt scotch whiskies available.

The Dalmore® is clearly one of the most popular and luxurious single malt scotches found anywhere in the world.

Dalmore Distillery has produced fine tasting malts of distinction for over 170 years. Back in 1839, The Dalmore legend started by Alexander Matheson, who lived in the famous Highlands of Northern Scotland.

We’d like to recommend several of The Dalmore’s finest malts:

The Dalmore 59 Year Old EOS: Named after the Titan goddess of the dawn, EOS is sister to Selene, our highly prized 1951 vintage. Selected from the same two outstanding sherry casks, 1781 and 1782, and now a year older and even more intense and evocative, the whiskies have been harmoniously combined to create a truly blissful experience. Casks 1781 and 1782 were filled on the same day, 7th June 1951 and left to slumber deep in our warehouses for 59 years. An exhilarating explosion of honeyed pear and pineapple, of bitter dark chocolate and roasted coffee followed by soft peaches, mangos and almonds. Toffee and caramel, orange, golden syrup and cinnamon then illuminate the wonder of single malt whisky. Just 12 stunning decanters made from the finest Portuguese mouth blown crystal are available in the US. The suggested retail price for a 750 ml of The Dalmore 59 Year Old EOS is $20,000.

The Dalmore 50 Year Candela: Provocative and pleasing. A melody of intense sensual aromas of sultanas, ground coffee, chocolate praline and spicy orange peel lead the first aria. Crushed bramley apple, honeyed marzipan, sweet molasses and morello cherries come together in perfect harmony to take center stage before whispers of caraway and Madeira cake completes this unforgettable symphony of pleasure. The suggested retail price for a 750 ml of The Dalmore 50 Year Old Candela is $13,750.

The Dalmore 40 Year Old: One hallmark of The Dalmore malts is incredible record keeping in the cellar. This enables Master Distiller Richard Paterson to precisely assess the maturity of the Distillery’s vast stocks. For example, this 40 Year Old was distilled on February 13, 1965 and matured in American white oak before finishing in Gonzalez Byass Oloroso sherry butts. Only 1,000 bottles of The Dalmore 40 Year Old have been released. The suggested retail price for a 750ml of The Dalmore 40 Year Old is $3,500.

The Dalmore 1974: This is a new vintage release for The Dalmore, following the success of the 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon vintage and increasing demand for wood-finished malts. Only 948 bottles have been produced. This malt initially was matured in American oak and subsequently has been finessed by a secondary maturation in a single, 500 gallon
Matusalem sherry butt. The suggested retail price for a 750ml of The Dalmore 1974 is $1,500.

The Dalmore 1981 Finesse Amoroso: Perhaps the ultimate gift for the single malt connoisseur, this extremely limited offering (only 484 bottles) is the essence of Dalmore’s inimitable style. This malt has been aged for 26 years in American white oak (bourbon) casks, then “finessed,” or finished, with two additional years in Amoroso butts from the iconic sherry house of Gonzalez Byass. Each bottle features solid metal detailing of The Dalmore Stag and commemorative metal plaques on the outer box and bottle, and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the distillery. The suggested retail price for a 750 ml of The Dalmore 1981 Finesse Amoroso is $1,300.
