Art Director across fields of theatre, film and brand experiences, Gina Geoghegan will transform Netil House into a 5000 square foot hydroponic fantasy land. The immersive environment will be one where the plant culture not only serves as a bewitching backdrop for the performance, but is also incorporated into the menu itself.

Choreography: Imogen Knight
Choreographer and Movement Director Imogen Knight has choreographed eight dancers who will serve guests throughout the evening. The way in which the performers interact with the plates and the space is built into the design of the environment, which itself has been inspired by the food. For The Waldorf Project Imogen has created a performance bridging the gap between naturalism and surrealism, combining darkness and humour and highlighting base human emotions with dramatic effect.

Sound Design: Walls
Winners of the coveted Mojo Electronica Album of the Year award, sound artists Alessio Natalizia and Sam Willis, known together at “Walls”, are two of the most innovative minds working in electronic music today. For the Waldorf Project the duo will create a distinct sonic backdrop for each phase of the evening, completing the multi-sensory experience.

Food Design: Andrew Stellitano and Blanch & Shock
Food design studio Blanch & Shock and gastronomy artist Andrew Stellitano have collaboratively developed the menu as a narrative in 6 courses, moving from the rustic and unprocessed to expertly stylised dishes. Each course has been put together using premium quality produce and will be presented to guests by choreographed dancers.

Wine: Sanford and Benedict
The Waldorf Project will serve fine wines provided by prior owner of legendary California winery Sanford and Benedict. These include arguably the very best two vintages of the last twenty years for the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, 1994 and 1997. Four of the wines are special collaborations with Au Bon Climat, which were never released onto the market. The wines have been tasted throughout the creation of the menu, intrinsically connecting them to the food and ensuring a perfectly synchronized pairing.

Hollywood Sign

Tinseltown has been a long desired place for those willing to take a chance into become a Hollywood movie star. The rags to riches dream is a long shot but one stable fact is the world famous Hollywood Sign still towers over the L.A. area.

Everything ages with time and so does the Hollywood Sign. It’s time for a major makeover!

The Hollywood sign received its last makeover back in the 1970’s when several celebrities such as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner helped by funding the project.

Originally built back in 1923, the famous landmark the represents the thriving Hollywood movie industry.

The sign will be stripped down to sheet metal, then primed and repainted with white paint. National paint brand Sherwin-Williams will supply their industry-leading Emerald Exterior Acrylic Latex paint.

The makeover is expected to take 8 to 10 weeks and will require about 275 gallons of paint to bring the iconic sign back to a pristine condition.

Next year will mark landmark’s 90th anniversary and ensure it glimmers and remains a beacon for those with aspiring wishes for many years to come.

TEA PARTY THEMES:
There are a variety of ways to throw a tea party. Non-traditional tea soirées can be anything you choose: formal, informal, for a few guests or a hundred. Consider a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party with hat decorating elements, or a fall hat exchange, or chill out with guests and have a yoga instruction followed by a traditional Zen tea ceremony.

TEA TIPS:
· Choose from many different teas including white, green, herbal, Darjeeling, and oolong among them
· Check instructions for selected tea, as teas vary in their brewing time
· Start all teas with cold fresh water
· Place 2 or 3 tea bags into pot of hot water to steep
· Cover the pot or cup while tea is steeping
· Remove loose leaf tea leaves immediately after steeping or if using tea bags squeezing the tea bag after putting it directly into a cup is a no-no, allow it to drip briefly into cup while removing.

TEA BITES:
Most tea foods are bite-size fingers foods. However, you can update the three course tradition with your favorite mini foods. Consider a gorgeous spread of nuts and dried fruits, kabobs, cheese plates, filo puffs or yummy Spanish tapas instead of the traditional small sandwiches and scones.

CONDIMENTS:
Many tea drinkers prefer their tea served plain; however, you should have sugar and other sweeteners, various milks and lemons available for your guests. Tip: Milk goes best with black teas and traditional English teas, and lemon with Chinese.

1/2 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
Orange Bitters
Preparation:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add Ketel One Vodka, Cranberry Juice, Fresh Lime Juice and Orange Bitters and shake vigorously.
3. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice and top with ginger beer.
