Seductive Penelope Cruz

Tabercil, CC BY-SA 2.0, via Wikimedia Commons

Sexy and seductive, Hollywood actress Penélope Cruz Sanchez was born on April 28, 1974 in San Sebastain de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain.

In 1992, she made her film debut in the dark film, Jamón Jamón. With an impressive apprenticeship to the craft of movies, Cruz earned her place in Spanish cinema as a popular actress and became one of Spain’s foremost leading ladies of the 1990′s.

She’s made a dynamic leap from European actress to Hollywood superstar – but for Penelope Cruz the sudden rise to fame and fortune hasn’t come without a price.

“The most difficult thing in the world is to start a career known only for your looks, and then to try to become a serious actress. No one will take you seriously once you are known as the pretty woman.”

Penelope Cruz and Tom Cruz starred in the film, Vanilla Sky (2001). The movie helped make Cruz a crossover success.

The exquisitely beautiful Spanish star became romantically involved with Tom Cruise, but was accused of breaking up his marriage with Nicole Kidman. Their relationship ended after nearly four years.

“I am amazed about how everyone wants to know about my love life. They whisper to me, ‘Tell me the truth? Is it true?’ Who cares? Because we have this job, we are to say to everybody what we do, or with whom we sleep? It’s a bit absurd, but that’s why everybody.”

In early 2009, Penelope Cruz won an Oscar for her supporting role in the Woody Allen movie, “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”. “Has anybody ever fainted here?” Cruz comments at the podium while accepting her Academy Award. “Because I may be the first one.”

In late 2009, Penelope Cruz starred in “Nine” along with a star studded cast including – Nicole Kidman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Judi Dench, Fergie, Kate Hudson, and Sophia Loren.

Busy in 2009, Penelope also stars in “Broken Embraces”, a movie mix of melodrama, mystery, and dark comedy.

Matt Damon – Sexy Hollywood Actor

Matt Damon TIFF 2015

Matt Damon was voted #2 on AskMen’s Top 49 Men 2007 edition, runner-up only to soccer star David Beckham.

Matt has gone from an obscure actor to a Hollywood golden boy in just a few of years. He became an instant star when he co-wrote and starred in “Good Will Hunting” with his longtime friend, Ben Affleck.  Matt won the Best Original Screenplay Oscar and it’s been a rocket ride ever since.

Matt Damon was born in the Cambridge area of Boston. Matt Damon has starred in a variety of hit Hollywood movies including The Talented Mr Ripley, Ocean’s Eleven, The Brother’s Grimm, and The Bourne Identity.

“Success is not something I’ve wrapped my brain around. If people go to those movies, then yes, that’s true, big-time success. If not, it’s much ado about nothing.”When Damon was asked about dealing with fame, “I think you can control the effect that fame has on your life by the way you choose to live … Not dating a celebrity is big.”The Bourne Identity trilogy has had tremendous success.  When Matt was asked what’s next, he jokingly replied, “Bourne the musical. That was my suggestion. I think you have to kind of change the genre. It’s either got to be porn or a musical to re-ignite the franchise.”

“Right before The Bourne Identity came out, I hadn’t been offered a movie in a year. Because The Legend of Bagger Vance had come out and bombed and All the Pretty Horses had come out and bombed.”

Matt does worry about being typecast. “I never wanted to do the same kind of movies over and over anyway, so my theory on it all is I’m just gonna try and dodge the label and keep doing what I am doing.”

Pamela Anderson

Boeing978, CC BY-SA 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons

Playboy cover girl, red-hot tabloid queen, abuse survivor, TV star, Pamela Anderson has done it all.

When asked how much of the real Pamela Anderson does the public see, “There’s no way I set out to be a certain kind of symbol — the way I dress is the way I am, is the way I live my life. I’m not trying to be anything that I’m not. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy my life to the fullest, I’ve always been like that. My old manager used to say, “You should be doing these kinds of movies and this kind,” and I said, “Who are you talking to?” I’m lucky to do any movie. At this point in my career, this is just a great opportunity.”

On how motherhood has affected her, “I don’t take as much crap as I used to. You know, once you give birth, once you have kids, you realize what’s important in life, and you realize it’s really not difficult to be a good person. And so when people aren’t good around me, I tend to move away from that. There are so many good people in the world, and you want to surround your children with that. I gave birth at home both times–natural–with a midwife, in water…with nothing.”

Regarding ever getting back with Tommy Lee, Pamela says “Well, I love Tommy. I love Tommy. He’s the father of my kids. What’s not to love? You know, he’s a good person and — but we just get along better this way. There was never an intention of getting back together. It’s just, you know, we love each other.”

Remembering Princess Diana

Princess Diana

It is amazing how the years have gone by but its been 12 years since the death of Princess Diana on August 31, 1997.

It seems like yesterday people were shocked to hear that dreadful news alert. Many are still saddened by all this.

Princess Diana was a woman who had selflessly given herself to help others in time of need. Princess Diana did many good deeds and a lot of work for humanity. People definitely miss her presence here on earth.

Her death deeply impacted those left behind. A family who really loved her including her two sons Prince William and Prince Harry. They were so young when this sad tragedy occurred.

The evel paparazzi always hounded poor Princess Diana. The paparazzi seemed to be one step ahead of her, where ever Princess Di went. They managed to follow her in her car which contained herself and three other men. The car was speeding quickly to avoid the paparazzi in Paris France and crashed into a concrete wall in a tunnel.  Sadly the life of Princess Diana ended, but not her legacy and many memories of good will and grace.

The lovely Princess Diana will remain forever young in our memories.
